Today we are pleased to reveal you the recipe of San Vigilini, the most famous and representative biscuits of Lake Garda… just as our grandmother handed it down to us. Reading the recipe, you will be surprised by its ease and speed of realization! Ready?

Let’s start with the ingredients

½ Kg of Flour
200 g of butter
200 g of sugar
3 eggs
1 teaspoon of baking powder
200 g of raisins
1 grated lemon

Preparation Instructions

Mix the flour with the eggs, sugar, yeast and grated lemon peel. Add the butter and work the dough quickly. At this point add the raisins, previously softened in the water and passed into the flour. Let the dough rest for one hour. When the dough has rested, make small balls and put them on a baking tin. 

Temperature & Time

Bake at 200°C for about 12 minutes.

Last but not least… Serve them and enjoy their incredible flavour!
