Navigation on the Garda

The first public navigation service on Lake Garda dates back to 1827, with the launch of the steamship Arciduca Ranieri and from that year it was made of road …….. on the water! A group of Italian and foreign tourists, including famous people from history, art and literature, have been able to admire the natural beauties that the Benaco offers to those who venture on the foam of its waves or on the flat of the frequent calms.

And today, with the Navigation on Lake Garda, which has a fleet of twenty units, you can quickly move from one location to another on board fast and modern hydrofoils and catamarans or alternatively enjoy the tranquility of a day spent without haste, embarked on a ship that lazily travels from one bank to another, having lunch at the onboard restaurant or simply sunbathing and breathing in the crisp air coming down from the mountains.

Aboard the old paddle steamers “Italy” and “Zanardelli” you can offer a romantic cruise of the late nineteenth century, while on the motor boats Brennero and Tonale you travel with your car without worries about traffic or you can organize a meeting or a gala evening for 40 or 400 people, with plenty of space still available to meet each other in friendship. Not to forget the ferries, which join the center of Lake Maderno with Towers, avoiding, with a crossing of half an hour, to be lined up for hours on a Garda and thus saving time and anger.
