This gardens represents an urban complex of great interest and beauty, visited and celebrated through centuries by renowned reprentatives of history and culture. Nature, art and history make this garden famous all over the world. Set up at the end of 1400, the garden today shows the frame disigned by Agostino Giusti, knight of Veneto Republic and gentleman of Archduke of Tuscany. It was designed as background for Palazzo Giusti (Giusti Palace) and it was various terraces so that, following a pre-arranged path, it is possible to progressively have a view of the town. Set opposite the sixteeth-century hall, the famous cypress walk climbs up to a stalactite cave dominated by a “mascherone” (gargoyle) that lets out fire. From the belvedere it is possible to enjoy one of the best landscape of Verona.
