Eventhough historians say that this was the home of Cagnolo Nogarola, the massive building is known as the house of Romeo. It is believed that the Montecchi family, which really existed, lived in this boroug of Verona, thus this place has been designated to pass on the fascination of Shakespeare\u2019s tragic play. The building which stands near the Arche Scaligere, is a tipical middle age house and it is extremly well present. It cannot be visited inside, because it is now a private property and is occupied. The beautiful gothic facade of the 14th century well recals the romantic William Shakespeare\u2019s love story. On the facade you read an inscription in memory of the two young lovers:<\/p>\n
