Verona has an ancient historical center, very extensive and well preserved.

The Roman Town Hall from 49 BC, preserves important signs of that prosperous period. The Roman amphitheater called Arena, is today the most famous open-air theater in the world, but also the Roman Theater, Ponte Pietra, the Arco dei Gavi and the monumental gates (Porta Corsari and Porta dei Leoni) are architectures destined to last millennia.

Also architectures left by the Scaligeri at the time of the Signoria and by the Austrians during the Risorgimento are really noteworthy. But there are also houses, churches, palaces and squares of every age and style with warm and soft colors.
