The flowering season at Parco Giardino Sigurtà

From the middle of march every year the Park Sigurtà in Valeggio sul Mincio is exploding in the amazing colors of the tulips.

It’s the time of the most rich blossom in South Europe and the most important in Italy, an event that attracts many many flower fans: The name is Tulipmania.

The edition this year presents flower bed of more than 400 meters – ready for Guinness. Surrounded by daffodils, grape hyacinths and hyacinths you can see around hundred fifty different kinds of this typical flower from Holland, the tulip. They are in natural forms or elegant beds, created by the lord of Sigurtà time ago. The tulips are different in height, dimension and color, going from yellow orange to red, from lila to white, together with the black one, the Black Heroes and the Queen of the Night.
