The Arena of Verona is the biggest open air  theatre in the world and one of the most good obtained Roman Amphitheatres. For more than 80 years there are the most famous and amazing opera festivals worldwide, running every year in summer. In the arena can sit more less 22.000 viewers, and thanks the straordinary acustic every single person can follow the operas without any microphones used. The big size of the roman ruins, the perfect scenography ant the music give a unique charm to the arena, visited since 1913 from a vast number of visitors. Every year you can choose between different operas, concerts and ballets to enjoy. The stage technicians are busy every day in a 24-hour shift with the construction and dismantling; from 8am to 19pm is mounted in the evening, 1-7am in the morning is broken down and, if the stage is cleared, everything goes all over again. The gear moves harmoniously and vigorously until it encounters the insurmountable obstacle: the thunderstorms that sweep away the 24-hour work in an instant. Has the sky soothed again, everything starts to turn it until the gong announcing the performance: silence, candles and go to a new masterpiece is in scene.
