The Garda lake, the land where are blooming the lemon trees – as once wrote the German poet Goethe – offers several recipes for this delicious liqueur.
Peel 15 to 20 untreated lemon thinly, without the with skin and leave the shells draw in one liter of alcohol for ten days. give 800 gr of sugar in a little more than a liter of water (1200cc.), bring to boil and allow to cool.
Finally mix the sugar water with the alcohol, where the lemon peels were inserted and then filtered. Now fill the liquid in the bottle, and even the simple and delicious lemon liqueur from the lake is finished.
