Between reflections and stars: Lake Garda lights up with Christmas

When days grow shorter and the air becomes crisp, Bardolino lights up with warm Christmas atmospheres. From November 22, 2025, to January 6, 2026, the lakeside and historic center host the traditional “Bardolino di Natale” event, transforming the town into an enchanted village overlooking the water.

Walking among the wooden market stalls, you will find handcrafted decorations, local gastronomic specialties, and the unmistakable scent of mulled wine. Lights reflect on the lake, creating a unique scene where winter meets the warmth of the holidays.

The event is not just Christmas shopping: for the little ones, there are rides and dedicated activities, while for everyone else the true magic is living the lake in a new, silent, and sparkling guise. From afternoon to evening, every corner offers different emotions, between shows, music, and intimate atmospheres.

The Carrara Bottagisio Park becomes the beating heart of the festival, with light installations and areas designed to welcome families and groups of friends. It’s the perfect place to gather, share a toast, or take a souvenir photo in front of the big Christmas tree on the lake.
